Hi all. Happy 23 weeks to me! I'm doing great and so is my mommy. Things are starting to get a little tight in here, which is why mommy has a little bump in the belly. Daddy says it looks really cute though. I'm now about 11 inches long and, for those of you who are waiting for the latest produce comparisons, weigh the equivalent of a large mango. Not just any mango, but a large one. I can't make this stuff up. The thoughtful folks at babycenter.com are kind enough to research the sizes and weights of obscure fruits and vegetables and compare them to us.
My wardrobe now consists of a couple of pink onesies and the aforementioned "This kid hates the Cubs" tee. Not even born, and I already have a fabulous wardrobe. I get that from my mom.
Mommy and daddy asked me to thank all of their relatives and friends for the great advice and encouragement they have been given over the past few months. They are new to this parenting thing, and any parent can tell you that it isn't easy. But I'm even more grateful...I feel blessed to have so many friends in my corner. I can't wait to thank you all in person, and then spit up on your shirt!
